Donna Holbrook

National Executive Director, ICEJ Canada

The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem was founded in 1980 as an act of comfort and solidarity with Israel and the Jewish people in their claim to Jerusalem.
“Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.” Isaiah 40:1 (NIV®)

Today, the ICEJ stands at the forefront of a growing mainstream movement of Christians worldwide who share a love and concern for Israel and an understanding of the Biblical significance of the modern ingathering of the Jews to the land of their forefathers.

The Canadian branch actively brings together Christian and Jewish communities through interfaith conferences, educational seminars, prayer & humanitarian projects in Israel.

Donna Holbrook, Executive Director of ICEJ Canada (2001), has worked closely with the Jewish & Christian communities to support Israel and to speak out against Antisemitism, while helping Christians understand the Jewish roots of their faith, the root of Christian Antisemitism and to experience Israel first hand.

She has served on many boards, including the Canada Israel Committee, Canadian Society of Yad Vashem, and Israel & Our Jewish World. As an honoree of Canadian Friends of Meir Medical Center (2006) & Executive Producer of The Covenant: The Story of My People (CDN Live Premiere 2007 – now aired on TV & distributed worldwide in DVD HD/12 languages), she is no stranger to the media.
